Description

Chocolate chip cookies are probably my favorite thing to make. These 10-Cup Cookies are an amazing recipe for chocolate chip cookies!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 3 large eggs (, lightly beaten)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup chopped pretzels
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine sugar, brown sugar, shortening and peanut butter in large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy.  Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Combine flour, oats, baking soda and baking powder, add to peanut butter mixture and beat well.  Stir in chopped pretzels, coconut, and chocolate chips.  Drop by spoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
  4. Bake for 10 – 12 minutes or until golden.  Remove from cookies sheet and cool on wire rack.
