I’m on our annual girl’s trip in Arizona with my mom, sister and aunts so the next few days will consist of food, shopping, food, movies, food and who knows what else. I love hanging out with these ladies! We are definitely a food-loving people. I’m sure we will eat ourselves silly this weekend! We grew up spending Sunday nights around my grandma’s dining room table eating and laughing. Even after I got married that was still a Sunday night tradition. Yes, we love food!
These Gooey Nutella Rice Krispie Treats were a huge hit at our house the other day, probabaly because we are a Nutella-loving household. My boys went a little crazy over these. They are gooey, Nutella-y, crispy and just really, really good.
Rice Krispie treats just on their own are pretty dang good, but slap some extra gooey marshmallow creme on there with Nutella and they become amazing, because if you ask me, Nutella makes everything even better.

Gooey Nutella Rice Krispie Treats
Ingredients
- 5 Tbsp. butter
- 1 10- ounce bag mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup marshmallow creme
- 3/4 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Spray a large piece of wax paper with cooking spray.
- Melt butter and marshmallows in a large pot or dutch oven on medium-low heat stirring constantly, until melted.
- Add the Rice Krispies and gently stir to combine. Pour onto the piece of wax paper and with buttered hands, press into a rectangle (about 8 x 14) Let cool completely.
- Once cooled, cut in half and spread the marshmallow creme on half. One the other half evenly spread the Nutella. Lift the half with the Nutella and place on top (Nutella side down) on top of the half with the marshmallow creme.
- Refrigerate to firm up, about 10 minutes. Cut into desired sizes.
