These Homemade Snickers are incredible and should come with a fair warning: If you take a bite, you will not want to stop taking bites.
On the eleventh Day of Sugar, my true love gave to me . .
Homemade Snickers
Completely and ridiculously insane! That’s about all I have to say about these homemade snickers.
They are the bomb diggity. They are over-the-top and if you are a Snickers lover, then I may just be your new BFF.
You are either going to love me or completely hate me for sharing this recipe. These homemade snickers bars are downright delicious, divine, and so delectable!
Let me just give you a little glimpse of these beauties . . . .a peanut buttery chocolate layer, followed by a chewy, peanutty nougat layer, then a layer of delicious gooey caramel, and finally topped with another peanut buttery chocolate layer. Have I got your attention?
Don’t let all the layers scare you away from making these. They really are so simple, they just take some time because all the layers have to set before adding the next layer. Do I even need to try and convince you to make these? I hope not . . . just look at them.
This recipe comes from an old Taste of Home Magazine. I made them several years ago and while I was planning what to share with this 12 Days of Sugar, these popped into my mind. I pulled out my Binder and found the recipe. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to make them again. I took a plate to a family party the other night and let’s just say they were a hit, a huge hit.
