Menu Plan Monday is a yummy collection of dinner recipes, side dishes and a few desserts to help make your week a little smoother one recipe at a time. I hope you enjoy it!
I can’t even believe it’s July already which means Christmas is in 6 months . . . .eeeek! How in the crap did it get to be July? I hope you all have fun plans for the 4th of July, and hopefully lots of food and fireworks will be involved.
I actually used to dread the 4th of July because the fireworks would freak our dog Buddy out.
Seriously, he would whine and whimper for hours while all the fireworks were going off. You could do nothing to console him. But now that he’s old and completely deaf, he doesn’t even flinch when the fireworks start going off throughout our neighborhood.
Have a great week and I hope you have a chance to make at least some of the recipes from this week’s Menu plan. There are some really good ones this week. I don’t know that I could pick a favorite this week.
Happy 4th of July and happy eating!
Quick & Easy Sloppy Joes
Thai Chicken Tacos with Peanut Sauce
Grilled Turkey & Swiss Sandwich
(One of my favorite sandwiches. I can’t wait for my garden fresh tomatoes. . . YUM! Another one that definitely needs a photo update!)
Ham & Cheese Tortellini
Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken
(Use this for tacos, taco salad, burritos or nachos. . . whatever you’d like)Date Night – Kitchen Closed
Chicken Lazone

Coconut Bundt Cake
(This cake is one of THE most populars recipes on my site. It gets rave reviews from everyone. If you haven’t tried it you absolutely need to. This is a must make!)
Killer Cereal Bars
(I made these the other night for Taylor’s friends to eat when they stopped by to say goodbye to him before he went into the MTC. I forget how crazy good they are. Every single one was devoured! Even my 74-year old dad loved them!)
