Reese’s Pieces Peanut Butter Cookies

  • Total Time: 14 minutes
  • Yield: 18-20 cookies 1x

These Reese’s pieces peanut butter cookies are loaded with peanut butter, Reese’s pieces, milk chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. These might possibly be the most perfect peanut butter cookie.

Units Scale
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup mini Reese’s pieces
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips (or semisweet)

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add peanut butter, egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
  3. Add baking soda, salt and flour. Mix until well combined.
  4. Add peanut butter chips and chocolate chips and mix on low until chips are mixed in. Gently stir in Reese’s pieces.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, scoop cookie dough (about 2 tablespoons) onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or a silpat liner. Bake for 8-9 minutes. Don’t overbake (the cookies should look undercooked when you take them out). Gently tap/bang the cookie sheet on the counter a couple times and then allow the cookies to rest on cookie sheet for about 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack.

  • If you can’t find the mini Reese’s pieces, (not sure if they still make them)  just substitute the regular size Reese’s pieces and use 1 1/2 cups.
  • If you like your cookies a little flatter, you can gently flatten the cookies with the palm of your hand before you bake them.
  • Feel free to use semisweet chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate.
