20-Minute Sheet Pan Sausage & Veggie Dinner

Sausage, broccoli, bell peppers and sweet potatoes seasoned with oil and a few spices make up this amazing  Sheet Pan Sausage and Veggie Dinner. Packed with flavor, healthy and so simple to make. 


Units Scale
  • 2 tablespoons oil (olive or canola)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pkg. (12-14 oz) chicken sausage, cut into pieces
  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peel and cut into pieces
  • 1 red pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1 yellow pepper, cut into pieces
  • 23 cups broccoli, cut into pieces


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Line a large cookie/baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, cumin, salt and pepper. Set aside.
  4. Combine the sausage, sweet potatoes, peppers, and broccoli in a large Ziplog bag. Pour oil mixture on top and seal bag. Shake bag until everything is evenly coated. Spread evenly onto prepared pan and bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until veggies are fork tender. (You can also place in fridge until your ready to cook it.)
  5. Season with salt and pepper if needed. Enjoy.


  • Once I spread everything onto my prepared cookie sheet, I like to give it a good spray with either canola oil cooking spray or avocado oil cooking spray before putting it in the oven.
