My weekly menu plans are a collection of delicious dinner recipes, side dishes and a few desserts that will hopefully offer a little dinner inspiration and help make your week a little smoother one recipe at a time.
If it seems like forever since I’ve done a weekly menu plan, that’s because it has been. With the holidays and my 12 Days of Sugar, my weekly menu plan was obviously put on the back burner. November 8th was the last time I posted one. . . yikes! But I’m back today with a new one and hopefully you’re ready for one.
With it being a new year, many of us have probably vowed we’re going to “eat a little better”, so most of the recipes on today’s menu plan are a little more on the “healthy” side. Obviously, the desserts are excluded from that category (haha!).
I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. I loved spending time with my boys and being able to talk to my son Braydon who is currently serving an LDS mission. He doesn’t call every week (which missionaries can do now), so it was so exciting and fun to talk with and see him. It was definitely the best part of Christmas.
We decided last year that from now on, for most Christmases we are going to do family trips. My boys don’t need anything and spending time together as a family and creating memories is better than any gift we could give them. So we are headed to Disneyland in a couple weeks and I can’t wait.
Happy new year to everyone and I hope you have a great weekend! I’ll be back Monday with a new chocolate chip cookie recipe that is amazing!!
