My weekly menu plans are a collection of delicious dinner recipes, side dishes and a few desserts that will hopefully offer a little dinner inspiration and help make your week a little smoother one recipe at a time.
I’m on a girl’s trips this weekend with a few of my girlfriends . We’ve all been friends since junior high and some of us even since elementary school. We’re celebrating (or maybe really commiserating) the fact that we all turn 50 this year . . . 😩! It’s seriously hard to even wrap my head around that fact. It really does feel like we were just in school together, hanging out every weekend, asking and answering boys to dances, dancing our hearts out at school stomps, having sleepovers and driving to Sconecutter at 1:00 am, etc. Life was carefree, fun and so good in high school.
I truly have the best girlfriends ever. It’s been over 30 years since we graduated from high school and we still get together for lunch as often as we can. We’ve tried to do it monthly, and sometimes it doesn’t happen every month, but that’s ok. The memories I have with these girl are endless and absolutely priceless. I seriously love them with all my heart. Not all of them could come this weekend and we’re really missing them. This was us back in high school. Are you just dying over this picture? The hair, the clothes. . . . you gotta love the 80s!
So while I’m off playing, hopefully you’ll be planning your menu for next week with the help of today’s weekly menu plan. My sister called me last weekend to tell me she was making five of the six dinners on the weekly menu I’d just posted. She thanked me over and over for making her life easier. . . it made my day. I hope you guys are finding these helpful.
Hope you have a great weekend.
