Each Weekly Menu Plan is a collection of delicious dinner recipes, side dishes and a few desserts that will hopefully offer a little dinner inspiration and help make your week a little smoother one recipe at a time.
It’s been a bit of a busy week around our house. My oldest son Josh got married on Wednesday, instead of September 1st like they had originally planned. About 3 1/2 weeks ago they decided to move up the date because the number of people allowed in the temple right now wasn’t going to change between now and September, so why wait? #covidwedding
They very quickly got invitations printed and mailed out for a wedding dinner, Katie changed her bridal pictures date, I booked a place for the wedding dinner, met with a caterer and everything fell into place. It was an amazing day and I am so happy they found each other. They are still going to do a reception on September 1st, so we are crossing our fingers that things in the world might look a little better by then. Please cross your fingers too♡.
It’s crazy how Covid has completely changed the world. Brides aren’t getting their dream weddings, missionaries aren’t going to the places they were originally called to, NBA and MLB games are being played in empty arenas and stadiums (well, with cardboard figures), social distancing and masks are the “new normal” (which I hate by the way and I hate the words “new normal”). I could go on and on, but I don’t want to keep you here all day. I am 100 percent ready for pandemic life to be gone. #ihatecovid
Hopefully you are all hanging in there and can at least find some stress relief in baking and/ cooking. There are so many good things on today’s weekly menu plan, I’d love to hear back about anything you try. Also, if you’re on Instagram, be sure and tag me when you make something. I love seeing what my readers are making.
Have a great weekend and I’ll be back on Monday with another new recipe.
