School is officially out and summer break has started . . . woo hoo! It’s crazy how fast this school year went and even more crazy that this year is almost half way over.
While I’m on the subject of crazy, my son Braydon comes home from his mission in about 2 1/2 months . . . that is crazy! What a mission he has had! He was lucky enough to start his mission about 8 months before the pandemic hit, then he got to experience serving a mission during a pandemic and now he’s finishing out his mission as we are (hopefully) seeing the end of this pandemic. . . it’s been a whirlwind that’s for sure.
Anyway, let’s talk food. I could go on and on about how much I love everything on this week’s meal plan, but I’ll spare you the details and let you see for yourself. I will say that the Slow Cooker Spicy Chicken & Rice has been one of the top recipes on my site ever since I posted it about five years ago. The Sloppy Joe Quesadillas are ridiculously good and the Take 5 Brownies are deadly.
