Hello Friday, so glad you’re here. It’s definitely been a heck of week!
My oldest son and his wife had their first baby on Monday and it was . . . . . a boy!💙 Another sweet boy has been added to our family and I am so excited! Miles was born on Monday coming in at a tiny 5 lbs 7 oz and only 17 inches long. He had to go to the NICU and is still there and most likely will be through the weekend. I haven’t even been able to go see him because I have a cold and I’m so mad about it! I honestly NEVER get sick and when I finally do, it’s the day my second grandchild is born.😩 Hopefully by the time he gets out, my cold will be gone and I can go snuggle him.
Anyway, let’s talk food now. The thing I’m most excited for on this week’s menu plan is the Greek chicken souvlaki with lemon rice and garlic pita bread. If you haven’t ever made it, you absolutely have to! It is probably one of my boys’ top five meals. It’s a phenomenal meal that everyone will love! The creamy tacos are also a family favorite and have been for years.
