Hello Friday and hello to a new menu plan! I’m loving this week’s menu. In fact when I was putting this together, I was craving the whole wheat pancakes and ended up making them for dinner last night. They are so good and it had been way to long since I’d made them!
The baked sweet and sour chicken is one of my favorite recipes from our family cookbook (check out the pictures of it in that post). It never disappoints and and family favorite rice is so good with it, I highly suggest you make the rice too! The corn chowder is amazing and you need to make it if you never have!
If you’re a fan chocolate and peanut butter then you absolutely, positively must make the chocolate chocolate chunk peanut butter chip cookies! They’re phenomenal! Speaking of cookies, has anyone had the new chocolate chip cookie that Costco is selling in their food court? I was at Costco yesterday and my sister called me. When I told her I was at Costco, she asked if I’d had their new cookie they were selling in the food court. I told her I didn’t even know they were now selling a chocolate chip cookie. Well you bet I bought one on my way out and HOLY CRAP, it might be the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever eaten! The cookie is huge, it’s served warmed, the center is gooey and loaded with melted chocolate chunks and the edges are crispy. It’s cookie perfection and if you haven’t tried it yet, RUN to Costco ASAP and buy one!
