MY WEEKLY MENU PLANS ARE A COLLECTION OF DELICIOUS DINNER RECIPES, SIDE DISHES AND A FEW DESSERTS THAT WILL HOPEFULLY OFFER A LITTLE DINNER INSPIRATION AND HELP MAKE YOUR WEEK A LITTLE SMOOTHER ONE RECIPE AT A TIME.
We had our first snow day in at least two decades on Wednesday, so it was kind of a big deal and my boys were beyond excited.
After shoveling and snow blowing, they basically laid around enjoying their day off, while I baked my little heart out. I got three recipes made and photographed yesterday and then gained 10 pounds just looking at everything I’d made (of course, all three recipes were sweets). I would have delivered it to my neighbors, but my whimpy self didn’t want to go out in the bitter cold and snow (lol).
Thankfully Zach came home on his lunch break so I sent all the cookies with him to take back to work and gave my husband a plate of another treat to take to his office yesterday morning. That left us with the cinnamon rolls (how awful!), so I scratched what I’d planned on making for dinner and made scrambled eggs with sausage and cheese to go along with the cinnamon rolls (recipe coming soon).
Lots of yummy recipes this week for my weekly menu plan and since it’s Valentine’s Day next week, I included my favorite sugar cookie recipe and sugar cookie bars (just in case you’re too lazy to roll and cut out cookies). I’ll also be posting an amazing dessert recipe on Monday that would be perfect for your Valentine’s Day dinner.
Have a great weekend.
(I always make this the night before and leave it in the the fridge overnight, just in case you want to do the same. I also don’t cook the noodles before hand.)
