World’s Best Brownies

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 bar (4 oz) German’s sweet chocolate bar, broken into chunks
  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, milk or semisweet


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a GLASS 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a medium saucepan melt butter and chocolate bar over low heat, stirring often. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl combine the four, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix until blended, but do not beat (you can use an electric hand mixer or just a wooden spoon).
  4. Add the melted chocolate mixture and mix until combined, but do not beat.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chip and pour into prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes.
